students about their mental
health and feelings unveiling as
a member of LGBTQ+

• The mental health and feelings of LGBTQ+ youths.
• To know the factors contributing to their mental
health.
• To know their feelings before, during, and after
unveiling.
• It aims to fill the gaps from other related studies /
literatures and to determine the impact of their
unveiling to themselves, family, peers, and to the

The Recursive Abstraction will be used in this study.

1. How do the reactions of their family, friends and society impact the
mental health and well-being of LGBTQ+ individual about their
revelation.

2. What are the factors that influence the decision of LGBTQ+ individuals
to come out and reveal their true feelings and identities?

3. What are the experience of individuals who do not feel safe or


comfortable coming out as LGBTQ+ and how they cope with the stress
and anxiety of concealing their true identities and feelings?

• significance of the study


• To the STUDENTS , this will provide them acquainted information
about the factors that may affect their mental health and different feelings
unveiling as a member of LGBTQ+ community.
• To the PARENTS , the result of this study will let them know the mental
health and feelings of the students when they unveil.
• To the TEACHERS , to provide support to their students’ mental health
and feelings regarding of their unveiling.
• To the FUTURE RESEARCHER , this study will severe as a
justification for related topics.

• A set of initial questions will be
prepared (open-ended).
• An audio recording will be utilized.
• Take down notes and compile the
responses.
• Analyze and interpret the findings.

• Aim to generate insights that can form support
strategies and interventions for the LGBTQ+
students.
• Using Recursive Abstraction (Organize and
prepare the data, Transcribe the datasets,
Summarize the data sets, Interpret and analyze

• The guide questions will undergo approval by the
authorized school members (teachers and principal).
• To avoid any harm and misunderstanding to the
