• Fallacies can be either illegitimate
arguments or irrelevant points, and
are often identified because they
lack evidence that supports their
claim.

Fallacies of Relevance
Fallacies of relevance involve introducing premises or conclusions
that have nothing to do with the subject matter.

Fallacies of Insufficient
Fallacies of Evidence
insufficient evidence are mistakes in reasoning that
occur because the premises, though logically relevant to the
conclusion, fail to provide sufficient evidence to support the
conclusion.

RELEVANCE
PERSONAL
ATTACK
: This fallacy occurs when, instead of addressing someone's
argument or position, you irrelevantly attack the person or
some aspect of the person who is making the argument.

The man named Mr. Oliver, who fought with my father last week,
has opened a new clothing store inside the supermarket. I won’t
suggest that you purchase anything from that man; he’s narcissistic
and boastful.

-- is typically a negative argument where there is an attempt to
discourage someone from taking a course of action because if they
do it will lead to some unacceptable conclusion.

Once you start spending a lot of money on investments, There is
a possibility that if the business you invest in goes bankrupt,
your money will also be lost, or you could also be scammed.

: occurs when a person draws a comparison between two
concepts, situations, or things to link them together in an
argument, even though the connection between the two is not
strong enough to make the case.
