GENERAL
ARRANGEMENT
DRAWING
What is GENERAL ARANGGEMENT
DRAWING?

General arrangement drawing present the

overall composition of the object such as
building. This is as opposed to more detailed
drawing such as component drawing or assembly
drawings that might only show a particular
aspect or part of the object
How GENERAL ARRANGEMENT prepare?

• General arrangement drawing are likely to be prepare at its stage of development

of a design, showing the overall relationship between the main elements and the
key dimensions. The level of the detail will increase as the project progresses and
they may need to be supplemented by more detailed drawing, showing specific
elements and assemblies. On very simple project this may be included on the
general arrangement drawing themselves, but generally, separate drawing will be
required. They can be very large drawings depending on the size and complexity
of the object being represented in scale use.
PROCESS FLOW DIAGRAM
What is Process flow diagram?

A process flow diagram (PFD) is a type of flow chart that

shows the relationship between major components in a
process. Their is a wide use of it in chemical engineering and
process engineering.
Where we use
PFD?
We mostly use process flow
diagram in a process plant such as:
What is the purpose of PFD?

A process flow diagram helps in understanding the

complete overview of the operating system. We can
use PFD to find the material flow through the unit.
CIVIL
DRAWING
What is Civil Drawing?

A civil diagram or site drawing, is a type of technical drawing

that shows information about grading, landscaping or other
site details. These drawings are intended to give a clear picture
of all things in a construction site to a civil engineering.
Process of Civil Drawing
 A very early stages of a civil drawing start with surveying. Surveyors
provide a map file of the job site from which civil designers and
drafters develop drawing. After the surveying of other departments in
the engineering firm start to work on other thing such as draining,
grading, foundation, and site preparation. Other projects such as
electrical, piping, and sea wage treatment might require another type of
engineering or a specialized design. Final stages of a project may
involve finished site preparation and landscape design. This aspect of
a project may be contracted to landscape architect.
SPECIAL APPLICATION
DRAWING
What is Special Application Drawing?

 Special application drawing is a presentation of a

structure or product with its components connected
together, in their relative working positions while in
use. These components are fabricated separately, and
are assembled or installed together at their utility
sites such that each part fits and matches with
others.
