Envelopes and Labels


using MS Word

Envelopes
● Envelopes are used traditionally everywhere. It is a simple mode
of communication between the sender and the receiver.
Creating Envelopes using Microsoft Word

Go to the Mailings bar and select the Envelopes bar under the
Step 1 Create bar.

Step 2 A dialog box will appear.

Step 3 Provide the details such as the Delivery address, Return address, etc., and
then click on the Add to Document button below.

Step 4 An Envelope will get inserted into the MS Word document.


Labels
● Refers to the information or address that we wish to appear on
items, advertising, etc. Also, we can directly set the quantity of
labels we want to print.

Go to the Mailings bar and select the Labels bar under the
Step 1 Create bar.

Step 2 A dialog box will appear.

Provide the details of the Address and select the options button below.

Another dialog box will appear then Provide the Label information such as
Step 4 Label vendors, and the Product number, and then press the OK button.

Step 5 Labels will get inserted into the MS Word document. And
press Print to print the Labels.
What is the Difference between
Envelope and Labels?
The name and address can be printed directly on an envelope
when using the envelope option, but when using the label
option, the name and address can be printed on sticker labels that
can be stuck on top of the envelopes.
