PHOSPHOLIPIDS
Phospholipids are a subclass of lipids that have
two hydrophobic "tails" made of fatty acids
connected by an alcohol residue (often a glycerol
molecule). Their hydrophilic "head" contains a
phosphate group.
STEROLS
Sterols is also known as steroid alcohols, are a
subgroup of the steroids and an important class of
organic molecules. they are regarded as membrane
reinforcers that control biological processes and
maintain the domain structure of cell membranes.
STEROIDS
A steroid is an organic molecule with four rings that is
biologically active and has a particular molecular
arrangement. As crucial cell membrane components that
affect membrane fluidity and as signaling molecules,
steroids serve two main biological purposes.

● Phospholipids are a particular class of
