RAT I O NALE
Recently, there have been reports of students’ frequently
ditching their classes and routinely engaging in vices. These actions
are not intentional, but rather, are the result of the lack of
information regarding anxiety disorder, display of a passive attitude
in their studies like lack of interest in learning, and poor performance
in the oral presentation, which, in turn, takes a significant hit on their
academic performance. Behavioral and Social Problems in Education
significantly impact our educational system.

In connection with this, the researchers gained interest to

conduct this study to know the level of anxiety and academic
performance of the Bachelor of Elementary Education and Bachelor
of Secondary Education major in English in the subject of Purposive
Communication.
