pistons 1 and 2 open to drain

 Used for bleeding the air when


replacing fuel elements or engine
running out of fuel
 Operates automatically for 30 sec.
when the starter switch is set to "ON"
 Set the starter switch to "OFF" and
then to "ON" again to start engine
 Repeat the above operation
procedure 4 times (loosening air
bleeder plug not required)
 Depending on a case, manual
bleeding may be required on the
suction (prefilter side)

Installation of piston cooling nozzle resulted in


increasing the oil pump capacity by about 10%

Thermostat

 Valve cracking temperature for D65/WA400/GD655 and


675 is set as low as 72C to prevent power train from
overheating

 Valve cracking temperature for PC300 is 82 to 84C
