Influence:
Influence is the ability of an individual to transform and
shape the opinions of others. Influencing at the
workplace, then, is a process of transforming the
behaviors of employees. Organizational influence are the
characteristics or attributes of an organization and the
impact they have on the people and work completed
within, including project management.

For example, a team leader can influence subordinates


through his communication, policies and actions.

influencing and shaping the attitudes,
behaviors, and beliefs of individuals within an

organizational context.
Influence of Behavior through Modelling:-

Influencing through modeling refers to the process of


using one's own behavior, skills, or achievements as a
model to inspire or persuade others to adopt similar
behaviors or goals. It involves being a role model and
using your actions and achievements to motivate and
guide others towards a desired outcome. This concept is
often applied in various fields, including leadership,
education, personal development, and social influence.
Influence through Counselling and Coaching
:-

Influencing through counseling and coaching involves


using professional skills and techniques to guide and
support individuals in achieving personal growth,
overcoming challenges, and making positive changes in
their lives. Counselors and coaches work closely with
their clients to help them explore their thoughts,
emotions, and behaviors, identify goals, and develop
strategies to achieve them.
Influence through personal influencing :-

Influencing through personal influencing involves using


interpersonal skills and strategies to persuade, inspire, or
motivate others on an individual level. It entails building
rapport, effective communication, understanding needs and
motivations, demonstrating expertise and credibility,
appealing to emotions, offering solutions and benefits, and
leading by example. It is a process that requires trust,
empathy, and adaptability to positively impact the
thoughts, feelings, and behaviors of others.
Influencing through Participation :-

Influencing through participation involves actively engaging


in group activities, collaborating with others, and contributing
to decision-making and problem-solving efforts. By being an
involved participant, building relationships, offering expertise,
actively listening, being persuasive, leading by example, and
seeking consensus, you can influence others and shape
outcomes. It requires active engagement, effective
communication, collaboration, and a genuine commitment to
the collective goals of the group or community.

Influencing through changing the work environment
refers to the process of bringing about positive change
in the workplace to foster productivity, collaboration,
and employee satisfaction. By modifying various
aspects of the work environment, leaders and
managers can have a significant impact on the
