The SICAM PAS Wizard initializes the project

• The initialization of the project can be done independent of the data

import. Therefore the configuration of the SICAM PAS CC project
can be started before readiness of the SICAM PAS projects.
• The SICAM reporter records the activities of SICAM PAS Wizards
and provides information about success respectively failures and
warnings.

The switching devices are controlled in two steps with IndustrialX Controls
 1st operation step: Selection of the switching direction
 2nd operation step: Initiation of switching execution
If a connected device supports „Select before Operate“, this two-step
operation can be combined with this characteristic.

 Further parameters are available in the WinCC setting menu

Alarm Logging – Message Lists

 The original absolute time stamp created directly in IED or in IED-connection are recorded in
the alarm logging
 In the event lists are recorded besides the time stamp and the status of the indication also further
additional information like cause, source, status information, …
 The display of values in SICAM PAS CC-Alarm logging includes besides the ON/OFF also
– Intermediate position (double indications)
– Bit pattern
 Text values
– The text values can be parameterized specifically, e.g. higher/lower.
– Up to 8 different text groups can be created.
 Command indications are recorded additionally to the process indication
 The logic of the acknowledgement can be selected in the alarm lists,
it can be acknowledged
– Raised
– Cleared
– Raised and Cleared
The entry of the raised status be kept in the alarm list until the reception of the clear status
and eventually the acknowledge of the cleared status.
