PROCEDURES / EXECUTION FOR WALL TILE
INSTALLATION

1. Prior to the commencement of this activity or work, necessary work permits

shall be obtained as required in the contract condition.

2. Wall plaster (if required) shall be finished rough (Scratch coat).

3. Wall / Tile Layout.
-Ask the line and grade team to put/ plot the starting point of the Wall Tile
 4. Do not begin tiling work until all concealed conduits, pipes, electrical
cables, electrical boxes, etc. that penetrate the tiling have been fixed
securely in position.
4. Ensure, that waterproofing in wet areas are already done, including leak test, before tiling
works.

5. Mixture of mortar will be accordance with the approved specification.

6. Apply thin set of mortar in thickness of 3-4mm on the tiles. (Mortar thickness may vary
accdg to the approved plan)
4. Install tile spacer to maintain an even gap between the tile to ensure the joints are
consistent.
4. After you have completed tiling the walls, you should also grout between the ceramic tile
row. You should also use a sponge and a bucket with a clean water to remove dust and
residues off the tiles.
