OF HOMEROOM GUIDANCE PROGRAM FOR S.Y. 2021-2022
As Deped Memorandum DM-OUCI-2021-346 from the

Office of Undersecretary for Curriculum and Instruction, dated
August 25, 2021, announcing the Revised Implementation of
Homeroom Guidance (HG) During Crisis Situation.
I. INTRODUCTION As a School Guidance Designate, it is mandated to
conduct School Re-Orientation and update for the Teachers In-
charge.
It is aimed that through this INSET, teachers can have a
higher level of understanding and they learn correct
Implementation of the Homeroom Guidance Program.
This training aims to:

II. TARGETS  orient the participants on the revised Implementation of
Homeroom Guidance for the S.Y. 2021-2022
 familiarize the participants in practicing distance materials
in Homeroom Guidance such as contextualized and
localized HG Modules
 identify and comprehend the Most Essential Learning
competencies, Monitoring and Evaluation Tools for
Homeroom Guidance
 guide the participants on how modules, teaching resources
of HG can be effectively deliver thru teaching
demonstrations.

IV. ACCOMPLISHMENTS
 The day 1 of the orientation consist of teacher and

stake holders, there is a brief presentation of the
conduction of the Homeroom Guidance and the
participation of the parents as substitute in guiding
their children in accomplishing the HG modules.
 Day 2 is a virtual presentation with teachers
Rationale and History of Homeroom Guidance, Roles
and Responsibilities of DepEd Offices Rationale and
and Implementation of
Homeroom Guidance during crisis situation.
 Also before the end of the HG orientation the Best
practices of other school were presented.
 Everyone participated properly and shared their
opinions and ideas regarding the implementation of
the Homeroom guidance module.

Orientation
The Homeroom guidance program orientation was held face to face at Sta Cruz Annex Elementary School
October 11 , 2021 at around 10:30 a.m. Ten teachers including the designate and school head were present in the
said meeting. The orientation aims to:
 Re-Orient parents about the implementation of Homeroom Guidance Program
 Ensure the implementation of HGP
 Introduce the different templates/reports regarding HGP
 Share ideas on how to implement the program effectively
The meeting was adjourned at exactly 12:00
