2) Site Constraints - include topography, poor soil conditions,

environmental contamination etc.
 Design Consideration
• Building Dimensions and Configuration
• The airport apron, apron, flight line, ramp, or tarmac is the area of
an airport where aircraft are parked, unloaded or loaded, refueled,
boarded, or maintained. This area should be designed effectively.
• Equipment Staging Areas should be provided adjacent to the
building.
• Airside Vehicular Circulation -Tug Roads provided
• It should meet Federal Aviation Administration standards.
