In today's digital age, businesses across industries are embracing technology to streamline their operations and enhance
customer experience. The hospitality industry is no exception, with hotels and resorts turning to automated reservation
systems to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. An online reservation system is a valuable tool that allows
customers to book their reservations with just a few clicks, providing convenience and ease of use. With the integration of
electronic payment options, an automated reservation system can offer a seamless booking experience and reduce the time
and effort required for both customers and staff to complete reservations.
An online reservation system is commonly utilized to store and retrieve information about tour product options or
lodging facilities and to facilitate booking transactions, as reported in the "Online Reservation System of Sallie Ville
Resort" (Oribiana and Cerafica, 2015). Oribiana and Cerafica (2015) also indicated that electronic reservation systems
with payment integration can simplify the reservation process and bill payment in a particular hotel or resort.
I INTRODUCTION
The study aims to develop a web-based reservation system with payment integration for GoodGuys Botolan, a resort
that currently uses traditional manual methods of recording reservations through Facebook Messenger. This manual
process is prone to errors and can be time-consuming for both staff and customers, leading to inefficiencies and customer
dissatisfaction. Through the development of an automated reservation system, this project seeks to enhance the overall
customer experience and increase operational efficiency at GoodGuys Botolan.
