Folder Sharing

 Folder Sharing means a folder that is designated, at the point of installation, for
users to store files that other users of the respective file sharing network can
download from the user’s computer.
 File Sharing or Folder Sharing is the public or private sharing of files or folders
on a computer connected to a network. Files can be easily be shared outside a
network via removable media, but the term file sharing almost always refers to
sharing files on a network.
Step by Step in Creating Folder using CMD
Application

Step 1: Press
Windows + r on
your keyboard

Step 2: Type
“cmd” then press
enter
Step 3: type cd
Desktop then
press “Enter”
Step 4: type md
“Desired name of
Folder” then press
“Enter”
Step 5: type exit
then press “Enter”

Step 1: Press
Windows + r on
your keyboard

Step 2: Type
“cmd” then press
enter
Step 1: find the
folder on your
desktop
Step 2: right click
on your folder
click “properties”
Step 3: click
sharing tab click
share button
Step 4: click the
down button then
click everyone
then click add
Step 5: change
the attributes to
read/write
Step 6: change
the attributes to
read/write then
click share button
Your folder is
now shared
Step 7: now click
the advanced
sharing button
Step 8: click
share this folder
then click
permissions
button
Step 9: check
allow box to full
control then click
apply then ok
button
Step 10: click
again apply and
ok button
Step 11: then
click close button
Step 12: now go
to file explorer
then click
network
Step 13: after
clicking on
network your
folder will come
up. If doesn’t
repeat the steps in
Folder Sharing.
