WHAT ARE

EXTREME
SPORTS ?

• For extreme sports we

mean all those sports
activities, even
traditional, that make you
feel extraordinary
emotions thanks to the
"experimentation of
danger" and a strong
physical effort.
WHAT ARE THE MOST FAMOUS AND
ADRENALINE EXTREME SPORTS?

The most famous of the extreme sports is climbing that can now be done in many
gyms. Other known sports are paragliding, parachuting, freediving, surfing,
underwater rugby but there are many others most of which are almost unknown.
EXTREME AIR SPORTS

• As for the extreme activities that are

practiced in the air, the best known
are bungee jumping and base
jumping.
• Bungee jumping is one of the easiest
in the category of dangerous sports.
To be able to do bungee jumping you
just need a suitable elastic band, a
safety harness and a platform from
which to launch into the void.
• On the contrary, base jumping
consists of hovering in the air at very
high speed and without safety elastic,
wearing a particular wingsuit that
allows you to better cut the wind.
EXTREME SNOW SPORTS

• The list of extreme snow sports is

quite extensive. In fact, on the snow
you have the possibility to choose
between solo or group races, and the
best thing is to choose a territory that
has a high altitude to be tackled with
your snowboard or skis. The goal is
to descend the mountain in record
time, making sure to finish the route
safely.
• Another extreme sport on the snow,
less risky and increasingly practiced,
is airboarding. The idea is to launch
yourself on the snowy slope holding
tight on an inflatable sled that travels
at over 100km/h, with jumps and
drifts to manage for one of the most
popular adrenaline sports of the
momenttitors.
EXTREME WATER SPORTS

• You can practice extreme sports

both in the lakes and on the rivers
or in the sea. Among the most
popular extreme water sports are
rafting, freediving (which should
never be confused with snorkeling)
and scuba diving.
EXTREME SPORTS ON RAMP

• Extreme sports on ramp Extreme

sports are not only those practiced
in the air, on water or on snow, but
also those involving the use of a
ramp. Among these, the most
exciting are certainly the high jump
with a motorbike or bicycles, but
also jumps aboard your own skate
or roller.
PARKOUR

• we conclude this list of extreme

sports by mentioning parkour,
increasingly popular among very
young people, which consists of
overcoming obstacles present in the
urban decor of cities by doing
twirls and acrobatics with only the
strength of the hands and legs.
MIXED MARTIAL ARTS

• Mixed martial arts (MMA) are a

full contact combat sport whose
regulation allows the use of all the
sports techniques of martial arts
(karate, muay thai, Brazilian Jiu
Jitsu, judo) and combat sports (free
wrestling, Grappling, boxing,
kickboxing). Sometimes they are
improperly called free fight or no
holds barred and confused with the
vale tudo from which, however,
they derive.
