ASKING AND GIVING SUGGESTIONS

We've all and often it give the same


suggestiona friend or also seek sugesstion
from friends or perhaps people who we think
of as a friend, but you do not ever ask for
and give suggestion (asking and giving
suggestion) use the English language?
Well there is a way below asking and giving suggestion and
also for example :

Asking Suggestions: Giving Suggestions:

- - What would you advices us to do? - May I suggest that we ...
- - Do you have any suggestions? - If I were you, I would ....
- - What would you do about ...? - I think you should ....

Asking Suggestion Giving Suggestion

Giving Suggestion using "Could"
Could use to give suggest to the other.

Asking:
What should we do tomorrow?

Responds:
We could go on a picnic.
We could go to Nicole's party.

Could use to give suggest or possible to the other.

Asking:
I'm having trouble in math class.

Responds:
You could talk to your teacher.
You could ask Michelle to help you with your
math lessons. Or I could try to help you.
Giving Suggestion using "Let’s, Why Don’t

Let's commons from the word of let us, its mean: "I have a suggestion for
us".
Let’s always follow by verb.

Let's + VERB 1

Example:
Let's go to a movie.
Let's not go to a movie. Let's stay home instead.

Why don't is a word that can make more polite suggestion in English.

Example:
Why don't we go to a movie?
Why don't you come around seveno’clock.
Giving Suggestion using “Shall”

• When “shall” use with Sebject “I” or “We” in a interrogative senteces,


it shows suggestion and ask to the other if they agree or not with the
suggestion that be given.

Example:
• Shall I open the window ? Is that okay with you?
• Shall we leave at two? Is that okay?
