     we can use Number Prefixes
    • like "kilo" (a thousand)
    • and "milli" (one thousandth)
    • and so on

    If you want to convert from unit with
    prefix to the base unit just replace the
    value of the prefix
     Examples:
     2 km =

     3 ms =

     5 µs =

    70 cm =

    40 Mm =
    If you want to convert from the base unit
    just divide by the value of the prefix

     40 m = km

     30 s = cs

     0.5 s = µs

    0.07 m = cm

    6g = kg
