 Introduction

Mathematics is an old, broad and deep discipline(field of

study).People working to improve math education need to understand
“what is mathematics” and for this we need to know the roots of
mathematics go back much more than 5,000 years. Human have
faced the need to measure and communicate about time , quantity ,
and distance. Then they developed mathematics. So mathematics is
the study of numbers, shapes and patterns.
 Correlation of Mathematics with other subjects
‘Correlation’ in the simplest form is ‘connect’ or to be connected.
Correlation means mutual relation of two or more subjects. So
correlation is a term that is a measure of the strength of a liner
relationship between the two quantitative variables. This is when one
variable increases while the other increases and visa versa. For
example , positive correlation may be that the more we exercise, the
more calories we will burn. Mathematics has also the correlation with
other subjects.
 Relationship of Mathematics with Physical Science

 Physical science without mathematics is totally meaningless.

 Chemical reactions , scientific theories of physical science

and detail of elements are only counted with the help of
mathematics.

locating, that place and estimating
the distance between different places.

 Language is the vehicle for communication and mathematics can not to

be learned without the use of language.

exactness.

Mathematics provides an effective way of building mental discipline and

encourages logical reasoning and mental rigor. In addition, mathematical
knowledge plays a crucial role in understanding the contents of other
school subjects such as science , social studies ,and even music and arts.
Mathematics plays an important role to create a relation between all the
subjects and it helps the students to understand the relationship of
mathematics with other subjects .Mathematics is a core like the sun and
as sun is connected with the other planets , just like these mathematics is
everywhere.
