Year End Wrap

up
Science with
Ms. Lee
Let’s take some time for a little
self-reflection of the school year
1. In Science 8/9, what was the topic you found
most interesting? Why?
**If you cannot think of an answer, you can tell me which topic you were surprisingly
interested in!
2. What was your favourite memory of this
school year? (before COVID)
3. What does this word mean to you?
4. Do you think it’s important for someone to
have Empathy? Why?
5. a) What would our school community be like if
everyone had weak empathy skills?

b) What would our school community be like if

everyone had strong empathy skills?
6. Think of some ways you can strengthen your
empathy skills over the summer, so that we can
start strong in the next school year!
7. Did you learn anything about yourself during
remote-learning?
Examples:

I learn best by….

I get easily distracted with....

I was unmotivated to do work when…

I was able to motivate myself to actually do work when I ….

7 b). Create a plan that will set you up for
success in the next school year
8. Silver lining:
Although we were stuck at home, there was a silver-lining in all of
this. We were removed from the outside distractions of society and
used this as an opportunity to self-reflect and strengthen our self-
awareness. This meant reflecting on your beliefs and values,
setting future goals and finding out ways to be creative!

Q: Were you able to do this over the past few months?

**If not, that’s ok! Self-reflecting is a LIFE-LONG process and it’s

never too late to start!
That’s it!
I will send my final goodbye
message on Friday <3
Enjoy the rest of your week!
