• This course deepens what you started to learn in Bsc3 in Corporate Finance. It
also revisits some foundational aspects of the topic.

• The Advanced Corporate Finance course reinforces the notion of Value Creation
in the context of Corporations’ financial decisions (Invest, Finance, Distribute).

• It also stresses on Valuation, Venture Capital, IPOs, M&A and LBO.


Typical Session
Each session is organized around the following elements:

• A series of slides (condensed, formatted slides with a complement referencing to the


book mentioned later)
• A one-page PDF briefing on the case study

• An XLS containing the case study and

• Another XLS containing the exercises to be done in class


Evaluation & Feedback
Final Grades are relying on:

• Case Studies: (40%) Students form groups and work on case studies.

• Each session gives the opportunity to students to work on a case study.

• Only 3 case studies are graded (S3-5-8)

• Final exam: (60%)

• The exam covers the whole content of the course and mixes MCQ and micro case studies
