What do the variables mean?
For the regression line
• The slope (b) tells us on average the change in the response variable (y) for
each one-into increase or decrease in the explanatory variable (x)

• The intercept (a) tells us on average the value of the response variable (y)
when the explanatory variable (x) equals 0
