Presented by: Perry Maxine A. Panis

ACTIVATING STRATEGIES

1. Carousel Brainstorming- to activate prior knowledge of

a topic through movement and conversation.
2. Two Minute Talks- to activate prior knowledge and focus
student learning on the topic to be addressed.
3.Think-Pair-Share- to engage students in about their prior
knowledge of a topic.

WILL HELP PROMOTE STUDENT ENGAGEMENT. EXPLAIN
BRIEFLY ITS IMPORTANCE TOGETHER WITH ITS PURPOSE.
EVALUATION

ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS BRIEFLY:

1. Assume that you're a science teacher and you noticed that

your students are creative. Your next lesson is about Layers of
the Earth. What instructional strategy will you use to engage
your students more and enhance their creativity?

2. Miss Wa noticed that some of her students in class are not

attentive or show little interest in the beginning of the lesson.
If you're Miss Wa, what instructional strategy will you use to
