Explanation: Discussion
Evaporation is a technique used
in separating a soluble solid from
a liquid. It is a technique where
only the solute is recovered, not
the solvent.

Elaboration/Extension: Generalization
In the environment, many
components of mixtures are
separated by the evaporation
process. When the sun heats the
Earth, water separates from other
substances on earth and it becomes
water vapor. Salt making is obtained
through this process.
Elaboration/Extension: Generalization
Evaporation is a technique where
a solute is being recovered.
It is an important process in salt
making; in cooking, or even in
drying clothes.

Elaboration/Extension: Generalization
For three minutes, think of some
situations where we can use
evaporation process.
List as many as you can and write
your answers in a manila paper.

Elaboration/Extension: Application
Mother Earth is urging
everyone to save and
preserve her resources.
How are we going to help
her?
