Common Noun:
Common nouns name general
places, people, or things.
It refer to any person, place, or
thing.
Common Noun:

When we write common nouns,


we do not use a capital letter.
Common nouns are only
capitalized when they are at the
beginning of a sentence.

proud of him because of his contribution to the country’s
economy. In school, he always tells and shares stories about
his dad’s sacrifices working in another country.

Felipe is a third-grade pupil who does well in his


studies. He studies hard and like his dad, he wants to
become a civil engineer someday.
