Course Description

 Fundamentals of managing agribusiness


ventures. This course deals with the
management problems and opportunities
of agribusiness firms and related
industries concerned interactive
arrangement that relate to decisions and
operations of agribusiness firms and
major commodity systems.

COURSE OUTCOMES

At the end of the course, the students are expected to:


 1.To provide BSAB Students applying their critical thinking and problem
solving skills across disciplines.
 2.Helps the BSAB students to apply life skills in areas such as teamwork,
interpersonal relationships, ethics, and study habits
 3.To expose students to the socioeconomic aspects of public policy issues
regarding the agricultural/ rural sector.
 4.Apply agribusiness management concepts to specific agribusiness
problems.

Class Standing = 60%


Class Participation (recitation) = 25%
Class Requirements (research work, project, experiment, etc.) = 20%
Deportment
= 10%
Attendance
= 5%
Quizzes (3-4 quizzes per term) = 15%
Mid Term/Final Exams = 25%

TOTAL
= 100%
Classroom House Rules

DRESS CODE- Ensure you are wearing the prescribed school uniform , No
T-shirts, No singlet tops or low cut tops.
BE ON TIME- Check the time of our classes meeting. Make sure you are
ready to go when the classes starts.
PARTICIPATION- Be focused. Pay attention. Actively Participate.

undertaken to achieve desired
objectives. The basic ingredients of
management are always at play, whether
we manage our lives or business.
There are basically five primary
functions of management. These are:

3. Staffing
4. Directing
5. Controlling
