SYNOPSIS
o Directed by Ashima Chibber, “Mrs. Chatterjee vs.
Norway” is based on Sagarika Bhattacharya’s nearly
two-year-long battle to win custody of her children.
o Debika and her husband Aniruddha are informed that
they aren’t fit to parent Shubh and Shuchi.
o The Norwegian government assigns them a lawyer
who comes close to assuring the authorities that
there’s been a misunderstanding due to cultural
differences
o Chatterjee's are going to get their children back.

EFFECTS

In order to help Debika, he told Debika that she

shows her father's willingness to do anything for
her.
EFFECTS
Her father's concern and caring attitude made
Debika more calm than if she had spoken with
her husband or during court proceedings.

CONCLUSION
“Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway” clearly brings up a lot of
important points. There is much we can learn from this video
excerpt in term of professional and unprofessional leadership
in our daily life as a parent or child welfare organization. This
video excerpt highlights the importance communication
empathy, caring, manner, culture differences and offensive
language. This video help us to avoid the misunderstanding
among the community especially those who deciding to shift
to overseas. We can conclude that all these aspects of
communication do not only impact our relationship with
people but also teach us to communicate effectively. We must
remember that when interacting professionally, we have to
show respect by listening attentively and observing politeness
