The document outlines 12 rules for life according to Laine Smith. The rules include: looking at problems from the perspective of Earth's small size in the universe to feel less stressed; accepting that tomorrow is unknown and opportunities may arise; living in the present moment; being prepared for change; treating others with kindness to receive it in return; taking full responsibility for one's actions; resolving conflicts before sleep; copying successful people; being willing to take risks; learning from others' mistakes; being willing to do things others won't to achieve goals; and realizing others are focused on their own lives.

Laine Smith #1 Look at the Earth when you’re stressed about your problems.
• I always think of how small the
Earth is compared to the bigger universe. Then I think of how small we are, as people on this small plant in the middle of nowhere. Which leads me to my problems, thinking about how small our plant is makes my problems go away. #2 Tomorrow the sun will rise, who knows what the tide will bring.
• When I'm mad at life I remind
myself that tomorrow the sun will rise and who knows what opportunities comes from it, because today will become yesterday and there's no point in getting mad at something that you can't change. #3 Todays the present. • I like to remind myself that todays a present, and I'm not garneted another day, so why not live in the moment while I still have it. #4 Change favors a prepared mind. • Being prepared for anything is very important, because you’re more likely to get a change at something in life when your prepared for it. #5 Love and you will get love • You give what you want to get. Being nice and loving to other people will get you love and kindness back to you, like wise if you are rude and disrespectful that’s what you will get back from other people. #6 You are 100% accountable • Never blame anyone for anything, because you’re responsible for anything and everything you do in your life. Good, and the bad. Blaming people for something you were apart of will get nowhere in life. #7 Don’t go to bed angry. • Don’t go to bed angry at someone, because there might never be a second change at saying sorry and you'll be forever broken for not doing so. #8 Find the most successful person you know and copy them.
• Someone who's good at making
money has a way of doing it that’s smart. If you do what they do you will get the same rewards and benefits. #9 Nobody wins afraid of losing. • Its ok to be afraid of a challenge because most of the time people who are afraid are the ones who don’t win. #10 observe others • When you observe other’s you can pick up their mistakes in life and use it for your own journey so, you don’t make the same mistakes. #11 If you want what others won't have you got to be willing to do the things they won't do.
• For example, if you want to be
wealthy in life you got to do the things your friends, and family won’t do to be wealthy. #12 No one cares • Everyone is in their own head, and at the end of the day no one cares what’s happening in your life because they’re so focused on theirs.
