Blog Update #4

Within the past month I have planned my capstone. I made a YouTube channel called
Outstanding Pumpkins. I posted four different videos on four different ways to carve a pumpkin,
showing the viewers how I do it my way. I had the opportunity to use some very expensive film
and light equipment. I worked long hours filming myself carving and then an additional three
hours editing each video. My girlfriend helped me with my thumbnails for the videos, though it
was tough to make them, we prevailed. Searching for similar videos that I could use as a
reference became a common thing as well as finding different kinds of music that’ll make the
video feel more engaging to the viewers. Once I had everything for my videos, I made my posts
for each video which includes a description of everything that is done in the video, and sources
for everything that was not original.
During capstone I came across a challenge where I would slow down on my progress on
filming, and I would lose all my momentum and eventually stop. It was much harder to get
going again but once I did, I didn’t stop and finished everything for capstone. As the due date is
coming to a close, I still need to source everything and post it on my website.
