    Voucher Program

    S.Y 2023-2024
    WHAT IS VOUCHER?
    This refers to a subsidy given by the State to qualified Grade 10 completers to
    enable them to enroll in non DepEd SHS.
    AUTOMATICALLY QUALIFIED LEARNER
    Only Grade 10 completers in SY 2022-2023
    who fall under the categories below
    automatically qualify for vouchers and are
    considered qualified voucher recipients
    (QVRs).
    AUTOMATICALLY QUALIFIED LEARNER

    Category A: All Grade 10 completers SY 2022-2023 in Public Schools operated by


    DepEd

    Category B: All Grade 10 completers SY 2022-2023 in SUCs and LUCs

    Category C: All Grade 10 completers SY 2022-2023 in private schools who are ESC
    grantees
    VOUCHER VALIDITY AND
    REDEMPTION

    • Vouchers shall be redeemed within the first semester of


    the School Year immediately after Junior High School.

    •Vouchers are no longer valid if not used within the said


    period.

    •The Voucher covers two years regardless of the number of


    years it takes the recipient to complete SHS
    REASONS FOR DISQUALIFICATION

    •VPB drops out in the middle of the school year;

    •VPB does not re-enroll the following school year;

    •VPB is retained in the same grade level;

    •VPB transfers to another Senior High School within the


    School Year;

    •VPB transfers to a DepEd Senior High School.
