Narra
It is a large deciduous tree growing to
30–40 m tall, with a trunk up to 2 m
diameter. The leaves are 12–22 cm
long, pinnate, with 5–11 leaflets, the
girth is 12–34 m wide. The flowers
are produced in panicles 6–13 cm
long containing a few to numerous
flowers; flowering is from February
to May in the Philippines

Yakal
It is endemic to the Philippines,
which is known as yakal in Filipino
language. Yakal is a medium to
large tree about 25 to 30 meters tall.
Its wood is hard and dark brownish-
yellow. Branchlets are rather
slender, blackish, and slightly hairy.

Acacia
Acacia, commonly known as the
wattles or acacias, is a large genus
of shrubs and trees in the subfamily
Mimosoideae of the pea family
Fabaceae.
Initially it comprised a group of
plant species native to Africa and
Australia, with the first species

Philippines.

Mahogany Tree
Swietenia mahagoni, commonly
known as American mahogany, Cuban
mahogany, small-leaved mahogany,
and West Indian mahogany, is a
species of Swietenia native to southern
Florida in the United States and islands
in the Caribbean including the
Bahamas, Cuba, Barbados, Jamaica,
Dominican Republic and Haiti.

Duhat Tree
The Java Plum or Black Plum is a
large, evergreen and exotic tree
from the Myrtaceae family. It is
popularly known as “Duhat” in
the Philippines. Java Plum has
been introduced to many different
places where it has been utilized
as a fruit producer, as an
ornamental and also for its timber

Mango Tree
Mangoes are juicy stone fruit
from numerous species of
tropical trees belonging to the
flowering plant genus
Mangifera, cultivated mostly for
their edible fruit. The majority
of these species are found in
nature as wild mangoes.

The santol is a fast-
growing, straight-
trunked, pale-barked tree
50 to 150 ft (15-45 m)
tall, branched close to the

Jackfruit Tree
The jackfruit, also known as
jack tree, is a species of tree in
the fig, mulberry, and breadfruit
family.

Banana Tree
A banana is an edible fruit –
botanically a berry – produced by
several kinds of large herbaceous

Musa. In some countries, bananas
used for cooking may be called
"plantains", distinguishing them
