UNDERSTANDING THE NATIONAL
HEALTH SYSTEM (SKN)

The national health system is an

arrangement that brings together the various
efforts of the Indonesian nation in an integrated
and mutually supportive manner, in order to
guarantee the highest level of health as part of
the realization of general welfare as intended in
the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution. SKN is
also a form and method of implementing health
development, which combines various efforts
of the Indonesian nation in one step to ensure
the achievement of health development goals.

D BASIC PRINCIPLES OF HEALTH
DEVELOPMENT
In accordance with Law 17/2007 RPJPN 2005-2025, health development is
directed at increasing awareness, willingness and ability to live healthily for
everyone so that the highest level of health can be achieved. The
implementation of Health Development and SKN is based on the following
aspects:

The aim of SKN is to carry out health

development by all the nation's potential, both
public, private and government in a synergistic,
effective and efficient manner, so that the highest
level of public health can be achieved.

POSITION
1. SKN Suprasystem
The SKN Suprasystem is a State
Administration System. SKN, together
with various other subsystems, is directed
to achieve the Goals of the Indonesian
Nation as stated in the Preamble to the
1945 Constitution, namely to protect the
entire Indonesian Nation and all of
Indonesia's blood and to advance general
welfare, educate the life of the nation and
participate in implementing world order
based on independence and peace. eternal

2. SKN's position relative to other National
Systems
The realization of a healthy state is
influenced by various factors, which are not
only the responsibility of the health sector,
but also the responsibility of various other
related sectors which are manifested in
various forms of national systems.
In its linkages and interactions, SKN must
be able to encourage policies and efforts
from various national systems so that they
are health-oriented. In the sense that these
national systems contribute positively to the

which is used as the main reference in
developing healthy behavior and environment
as well as the community's active role in
various health efforts.

ON
SKN is used as a basis and reference in preparing various policies, guidelines
and directions for implementing health development and health-oriented
development. SKN is an open system that interacts with various other
national systems in a suprasystem, is dynamic, and always follows
developments. Therefore it is not closed to adjustments and improvements.
Apart from that, be aware enhancement role nurse in system health is
important , then various effort For increase role the must can done . For This
lots of suggestions available submitted . For level national advice in question
is quick more develop education nursing professional , solid system service
