What is a noun clause?

■ It follows a linking verb to describe or modify the subject of the sentence.
■ Noun clauses contain both a subject and a verb.
■ They are dependent clauses.
■ They add more details to a sentence.
■ If the clause answers the question, “who?” or “what?”, then it is a noun clause.
