PrediTech – Predictive diagnostics of technological ITS devices using AI

approaches
Support of project from TA CZ No. CK04000109
The goal of the project is the analysis, design, testing and verification of predictive diagnostics of ITS devices using AI approaches

The project responds:

• requirements and needs of transport and technological infrastructure administrators

• particularly by optimizing operating costs and maintenance

• optimize the management of ITS equipments – tunnel, detectors, TL etc.

• economic benefit of diagnostics will be the implementation of maintenance at the time

The whole process of predictive diagnostics will also reflect new trends related to cyber security, AI and reliability.

Data available

Currently, data is available in the form of operational log, including categorizations

10
Steps to prepare data 3
• Problem definition - Identification of events that to be predicted

• 20 types of events has been selected

• Data profiling I - Event statistics

• Data preparation I – preparing matrix for initial insights and

• Data cleansing – maintenance log exclusion

• Data profiling II - Correlations and conditional probabilities

• Data preparation II – analytical table for modelling 11

Modelling and results

• For each of 20 events, initial model to predict it has been Positive Confusion matrix

PrediTech – Summary of the preliminary analytics results

• First results proved the ability of ML methods to be a helpful tool in predicting outages

• Future research (next steps) will be focus on business use of the models, i.e.

- Explaining models & relationships for selected events

- Incorporating model results into more complex predictive maintenance scenarios

13
PrediTech – Benefits from predictive maintenance - Conclusion
