CANTELEVER BRIDGE
Design Method :
Balanced cantilever method is used to reduce moment .

Advantage :
Thus the problem of stress due to settlement is eliminated. For this design
section becomes economics.
Design Criteria
 If continuous span are used ,the governing bending moments can be
minimized.
 Unyielding supports are required for continuous construction.
 For this method median spans in the range of about 35 to 60.
