 Introduction
Event : An event is a planned and organized
occasion, usually staged by a particular
organization for a specific purpose such as to
celebrate, educate, or promote something.
Events can range from small gatherings such
as birthday parties and weddings to large-scale
events such as festivals, conferences, and
concerts.

Management : Management is the process of
planning, organizing, leading, and controlling
resources within an organization to achieve its
goals. It involves setting objectives,
developing strategies, allocating resources,
and monitoring progress.
 Problem Statement
In the current system many events tend to
have multiple issues when planning for the
even such as scheduling problems , time
allocation .
Hence , The goal of this project is to create an
event management system that will allow users
to easily plan, organize, and manage events.
 Aim and Objectives
Aim of the study :

Objectives of the study :
i. Information about event centers will be collected from each
different centers
ii. A model will be designed based on (i).
iii. The system will be developed based on (ii).
iv. The system will be evaluated.
 Literature Review
Monday.com (styled in lowercase as monday.com) is
a cloud-based platform that allows users to create
their own applications and project management
software. The product was launched in 2014 and in
July 2019, the company raised $150 million, based on
a $1.9 billion valuation. The company went public in
June 2021 and is based in Tel Aviv, Israel.[

Whova : Whova is a San Diego-based software
company developing a platform for hosting
and organizing virtual conferences created in
2016
 Methodology
i. Information about each event place will be collected
from various event centres an event planners
ii. A model will be designed using algorithm and unified
modeling language (UML).
iii. The system will be develop using python
programming language and MySQL.
Iv. The system will be evaluated mean opinion score.
 Scope of Study
This project work will focus on developing an
event management system that will function
around ile ife and its environs.
 Conclusion
In This presentation I have been able to introduce the
event management system , the problem statements
have been defined , various reviews and works have
been revised in relation to the topic and discussed the
appropriate methodologies to be used In the research.
