Cooperation

Cooperation is working together to achieve certain goal.
Do you think it is possible to build the house alone ?
Cooperation
● People cannot do all their life chores
alone.
● Allah has made cooperation an instinct in
all creatures even the smallest ones like
ants and bees.
● These creatures unite and cooperate in
collecting food.
● Humans also cooperate as it is not easy
for each person to fulfill all his/her needs,
ambitions without cooperating with others.
 The concept of Cooperation

● Cooperation is a humanitarian act done

by a group of people to achieve certain goals having a common interest.
● It means unity and integration in work.
● The help is done by one party for another.
● It is a good deed for all parties.
● Cooperation is helping each other and providing needs and doing good
deed.
*Humanitarian means concerned with or seeking to promote human welfare.
* Integration means coming together to work.
Football team is an example of
the cooperation to achieve goal?

● Cooperation is a mutual approval of two parties or more to work

together.
● It is based on common interests, thinking of others and win win
approach.
● I win, my friend wins, the institution wins, therefore everyone wins.
● It is based on mutual love social relation and care for others.
 Forms of Cooperation

 The league of Arab States

● The League of Arab State was established in 1945

with the membership of all Arab countries.

● Its objectives is to establish political, military and

economic cooperation among Arab countries.

● It holds regular meetings to discuss urgent

and current issues.

 The Gulf Cooperation Council

The following six countries are members in the Council:

1. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
2. Kuwait
3. United Arab Emirates
4. Qatar
5. Bahrain
6. Oman
 The Gulf Cooperation Council

● The Council was established in May, 1981

● The Council aims to “achieve coordination,integration and interdependence
between the member countries in various fields to reach their unity.
● This includes reinforcement of economic cooperation.
● Its presidency rotates among member states based on the alphabetical order of
their names.
● The Council has a joint military army known as “the Peninsula Shield Force”
which was established in 1984, it is located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
● The member states have concluded the Joint Defense Agreement , which is a
military agreement signed by the member states on December 21st, 2000, in the
Bahraini capital, Al Manamah.
