Have you ever set goals/ plans? How

Why goals?
• People without goals are not as successful as they hope
to be.
• People who do not write down goals are less likely to
accomplish them.
• We fail because; we do not look back and never create
action steps.

Presentation title 38

- how much do I want to score
• Measurable- able to see progress over time.
Time-bound
• Actionable- clear the actions be taken

- Not over-ambitious
• Time bound- set the start and the deadline
• Evaluate- read and take action every week;
evaluate yourself
• Reward- refreshment

Presentation title 40
Action plan development
• An action plan is a detailed, step-by-step
method to achieve a goal or complete a task.
• An action plan is your roadmap to achieving
your goal.

Presentation title 42
What does an action plan look like
1. Focus on one goal at a time
- Review your list of goals and choose one to focus
on in each area of your life. Try putting your energy
into a short-term plan that feels most valuable right
now or inch you toward one of your long-term
goals.

Presentation title 43
2. Do your research
- Study as much as you can about how to achieve your goal. Read
blogs, listen to informative podcasts, and talk to people who have
done it before.
3. Lay out your steps in a timeline
The success of some items may depend on the completion of
earlier ones. It’s essential to order your to-do list based on what
should be completed first and set your deadlines accordingly. You
can’t run before you know how to walk.
-A specific and clear result
-Clear deadlines

Presentation title 44
4. Track your progress
- The best part of having an effective action plan involves
witnessing your progress. Once you set goals, brainstorm tasks,
and put them in a document, print out your list and put it
somewhere visible. As you complete each item, tick them off one
by one. This helps you feel accomplished with each step.
5. Treat yourself
6. Don’t give up!
- Creating an action will help you stay motivated, but that doesn’t
mean the path will be easy.
