WW-II paved the way for the rise
of U.S & Soviet Union as
superpowers. The ideological
difference was that U.S liked
freedom & democracy while Soviet
Union liked communism.

the United Nations was established
in 1945, to promote international
cooperation and to prevent
aggression.
Conclusion

political mistakes. The expansionist ambitions, joined with the failure of appeasement,
and the complex web of alliances, set the stage for conflict. Its impacts were pro-found,
affecting every aspect of human life.
