THE WORLD
As we know the difference between
weather and climate . So now it’s time
to jump on another topic . Let’s see
what we are going to do today .
TODAY’S TOPIC [27.07.20]
 Factors Affecting Climate of a Place
 1.Distance of a place from the Equator
 2. Altitude of a place
 3. Direction of Winds
 4. Temperature ,Humidity and Rainfall
 5. Distance of a place from the Sea.
DISTANCE OF A PLACE FROM THE
EQUATOR
 The rays of the Sun fall directly on the
Equator and becomes slanted when we
move away from the Equator and
towards the poles. Countries located
around the equator experience hot
weather throughout the year. It is
because the Sun’s ray fall directly on it.
The places fall near to the Equator have
high temperature. In North and South
pole , the sun rays fall slanted and
that’s why they are so icy and cold.
