CULTURE
 Culture is a concept that encompasses the social behavior,
institutions, and norms found in human societies, as well as
the knowledge, beliefs, arts, laws, customs, capabilities, and
habits of the individuals in these groups.
 Culture is often originated from or attributed to a specific
region or location.
 the customs, arts, social institutions, and achievements of a
particular nation, people, or other social group.
SOCIETY
• A society is a group of individuals
involved in persistent social
interaction or a large social group
sharing the same spatial or social
territory, typically subject to the same
political authority and dominant
cultural expectations.
• the aggregate of people living together
in a more or less ordered community.
• 'a group of people who live in a
definable community and share the
same culture'
IMPORTANCE OF
SOCIETY:
• Society brings people together, creating
a sense of belonging and shared identity.
• It promotes social cohesion by
providing a framework for cooperation,
collaboration, and mutual support.
Social cohesion strengthens community
bonds, fosters trust, and reduces social
isolation.
POLITICS

• the activities associated with the


governance of a country or other
area, especially the debate or conflict
among individuals or parties having
or hoping to achieve power.
• the academic study of government
and the state.
POLITICS

• Politics is the art of government, the


exercise of control within the society
through the making and enforcement of
collective decisions.
POLITICS IN THE
PHILIPPINES
• Our country is a democratic country, with a
president who is directly elected by the people
and serves as both the head of state and the head
of government. The president serves as the leader
of the executive branch and is a powerful
political figure. A president may only hold office
for one six-year term.
