What is consumer health?
It refers to the
decisions you make
about the purchase of
product and use of
health information and
services that will have
direct effect on your
health.

Health information
is the data and
facts you got from
media and people
including the
professionals and
agencies.

extolling the virtue of a product.
A famous person recommends a product
REWARD PROPAGANDA
is propaganda that gives a reward. This will
make the customers more interested
because of the reward.
BANDWAGON PROPAGANDA
refers to campaigns that attempt to
convince individual consumers to purchase a
product or service based on the idea that
many others are purchasing it, making it
tempting for the individual to do so as well
too.
SCIENTIFIC PROPAGANDA

Uses tests, statistics, and scientific-sounding


words to convince.
EMOTIONAL APPEAL PROPAGANDA
Appears to the emotions people share, such
as fear, anger, pity, etc.

Suggests that a person or product will


protect you against something unpleasant or
dangerous
FALSE IMAGE PROPAGANDA
convinces consumers to use a product that
gives off a certain image ex: you will have
perfect flawless skin if you use proactive.
HUMOR APPEAL PROPAGANDA
