What is functions
of management?
Management functions are the tasks that managers
do to reach the goals of the organization. These
tasks are interrelated and form a process that starts
with one function and leads to another. The
management process consists of four functions that
managers need to follow in the right order.

Plan beforehand

Fill and keep filled the post with people

Instruct, guide, communicate and inspire people in the organization

Keep everyone and everything organized throughout daily operations

Harmoniously adjust various parts to achieve common objectives

Planning
Planning is the process of thinking
regarding the activities required to
achieve a desired goal. There are
different ways to categorize plans
based on their hierarchy, frequency,
time-frame, scope and contingency.
Some examples of these types of
plans are:

The main function of management in an organization is
to control. This means that they measure the actual
performance against the standards that the company
has set. They do this to make sure that the activities are
done according to the plans. If there are any deviations,
they take corrective actions.
There are three types of control;
1. Feedback Control
2. Concurrent control
3. Predictive/ feedforward control
