My Introduction:
• I'm a computer science graduate, and I recently started working as a Computer
Coding teacher at your cloud campus since January 15, 2024. I joined because I'm
eager to learn more about my field and connect with students from different parts
of the world. This company offers various additional skills that I believe will be
beneficial not only for my teaching career but also for my overall personal
development. The daily workshops and meetings create a dynamic learning
environment, helping me discover and implement hidden abilities in my daily life.
I'm excited to contribute to the campus community and grow both professionally
and personally through these valuable opportunities.
• Today, I'm excited to share my expertise as I have a subject-relevant
presentation on artificial intelligence.
Definition of Artificial Intelligence:
• A part of computer science that works on making computers act
smart like humans.
• OR
• The ability of a machine to copy clever behavior that looks like what
humans do.
Main Uses of Artificial Intelligence
• Education: AI is helping make education better by creating
personalized learning, doing tasks like grading automatically, and
giving teachers useful information to improve how they teach.
• Business: AI is making business easier by automating tasks,
analyzing data to make smarter decisions, and improving efficiency
in various operations.
• Health: AI is playing a crucial role in healthcare by aiding in
diagnostics, optimizing treatment plans, and streamlining
administrative processes, ultimately improving patient care and
outcomes.
Some Examples using Artificial Intelligence
• Virtual Assistants: Smart assistants like Siri, Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa use AI to
understand and respond to user commands, helping with tasks like setting reminders,
answering questions, and controlling smart home devices.
• Recommendation Systems: Platforms like Netflix, Amazon, and Spotify utilize AI algorithms to
analyze user preferences and recommend movies, products, or music tailored to individual
tastes.
• Chabot's: Many websites and customer service platforms employ AI-driven chatbots to
interact with users, answer queries, and provide assistance in real-time.
• Autonomous Vehicles: Self-driving cars incorporate AI technologies such as computer vision
and machine learning to navigate and make decisions based on their surroundings,
contributing to advancements in autonomous transportation.
Pros and cons
• Pros • Cons
1. Does Jobs Quickly 1. Bias in Decision-Making
2. Gets Things Right 2. Lacks Creativity
3. Does Hard Stuff Well 3. Security Concerns
4. Works All the Time 4. Ethical Concerns
5. Helps Doctors 5. Costly to Implement and
6. Learns and Gets Better Maintain
7. Helps in Dangerous Situations
Conclusion:
• AI is like a super-smart helper that makes our lives easier. It helps us
with things like talking to our phones, watching movies we'll like,
and even helps doctors find out if we're sick. AI is part of many
things we use every day, and it's making everything smarter and
better.
