 Born On 22/3/1877 At Thirukkurungudi, Tirunelveli To

Vengu Ramasamy.

 From His Young Age He Was Brilliant In Studies. He

Worked As A Lawyer, And Also At Railways And Bank.

 He Is A Patron Of Art And A Forward Thinker.

 From His Young Age He Wanted To Start A Business.

 CAREER JOURNEY
 He Started A Public Transportation Company With Two Buses Between
Pudukottai And Thanjavur On 1911.
 Around 1916, Sundaram Started The Import And Distribution Of
Firestone Tyres And Ford Truck Components. In1919, he started a
automobile spare-parts selling company in Madurai. T.V.Sundaram
Iyengar and sons started in1923.
 In 1923, he became the dealer for Chevrolet and ford. In 1929, TVS
motors secured a dealership for general motors, pioneer in automobile
manufacturing.
 In 1939, he started southern roadways, a road transport and parcel
service company.
 He started a tyre retreading company, TVS Tread, in 1943.
 Sundaram motors was started in 1945 which started as a service centre
now sells Honda, Chevrolet, Mercedes- Benz.
