Our Mission is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to follow up converts to maturity, maturity being the ability to
reproduce quality believer and to promote holistic development of members and community served.
 Introduction
• Sometimes in difficult situations, we feel like we are forgotten, forsaken
and left to suffer. We sometimes feel God is not doing enough to us.
Such circumstances intern make us forget God and go astray.
• God is saying, come to me all those who labor and are heavy laden and I
will give you rest. He also said I will never leave you nor forsake you.
• Problem statement: Many Christians today cecum to situations around
them, most give up and turn away from godliness, some turn into
witchcraft and worldliness to solve heir problems not knowing that they
are actually making it worse

 The purpose of the lesson
• Is to inform you and me here today that God is with us in every
situation; he said draw near to me and I will draw near to you.

• Mt 1:23 …… God with us
• Hebrew 13:5 I will never leave you
• Mt. 11:28-29 come to me you labor and re heavy laden….

 According to the above verses
• Virgin Mary was conceived by the power of the Holy spirit and child
she to bear is to be called Immanuel meaning God with us. He is with
us in all circumstances and everywhere
• God wants our conducts to be without covetousness and we should
be satisfies with what we have and he will never leave us nor forsake
us (our desires and lack of satisfaction is the leading cause of sin
today)
• With all these, God is still calling us to come to him with our problems
and he will give us rest. Carry the yoke of God of peace, love, Joy,
patience, humility etc and no one will be against you.

then give birth to sin…
• James 4:7 resist the devil and he will flee from you
• Give your life to Christ and accept him as your Lord and savior and he
will guide you
