INTRODUCTION
A managerial process involves setting goals, planning, organizing and controlling the
activities of the organization and leading to execution of organizational objectives.
Management is necessary to achieve the pre determined goals efficiently with
optimum utilization of resources, to reduce cost and increase profit and to operate
and grow in a changing environment.
Planning is done before all the other functions of management. Generally
planning deals with framing organizational as well as individual objectives and
devising ways to achieve them. It involves forecasting, framing goals, thinking of
different courses of action and deciding the best course to achieve the goals. It is
done at all levels of management. It is necessary to plan for fulfillment of
organizational commitments, to facilitate proper decision making and to ensure
efficiency and to provide stability to the concerned organization.

■ Lenskart is Asia’s largest eyewear company serving 40 Million


people.
■ The company offers the facility of free eye test at its every store with
no purchase necessary.
■ With it’s virtual try on facility the company allows it’s customers to
select best frame according to their face type.

■ Founded in 2010, with its CEO as Mr. Peyush Bansal along with his
two co-founders Mr. Amit Chaudhary and Mr. Sumeet Kapahi.

jorhat itself.
