Steps to Develop a Certification System
Building Load Calculation Tool:
Introduction

 Efficient HVAC Tool:

o The load calculation tool with limited errors
o The tool that incorporate each and every aspect of cooling load.

 The conventional methods:

o UAΔT method does not include the solar loads.
o CLTD method that is used widely had errors in approximations and is
negated by ASHRAE itself.

 Building load Calculation Tool:

o A new tool based on RLF method
o Covers up the shortcomings of conventional methods

residential load calculations.

o Hourly Calculations: Customized hourly calculations account for local

climate factors, ensuring accuracy. Optimization

loads, internal gains, and appliances for a holistic view of energy based Tool
consumption.

o EEM Integration: Energy Efficiency Measures are integrated into load

calculations for optimized performance.
