Household Worker – refers to a person who render a
variety of household services such as cleaning, washing clothes, marketing, cooking, ironing, doing an errands and other similar activities for which he/she is employed. Cleaning The domestic worker will be assigned certain areas in the home or specific tasks such as daily cleaning or deep cleaning. Daily chores include cleaning of floors, furniture, windows, and all rooms. Deeper cleaning, such as shampooing carpets, is not done as often. 2. Child and Elder Care
A domestic worker may also be assigned the care of children
from infant to adolescent and likewise to an elderly member of the family. In this instance, experience in child care is needed. Housekeepers may do the laundry daily or depends on
the schedule given. Other activities related to this are ironing and folding of clean clothes then placed into the cabinets or drawers.
