WHAT IS SDI? (SPECIALLY DESIGNED INSTRUCTIONS)

Specially designed instruction


means adapting, as appropriate to
the needs of the child, the content,
methodology, or delivery of
instruction (i) to address the unique
needs of the child that result from
the child’s disability; and (ii) to
ensure the child’s access and
progress in the general curriculum.

SUMMARY

There are some resources that can help find accommodation


examples like Accommodations Central. And if you need help with
goals, Goal Book is another good resource from what we have been
told.
So all in all we need to make sure accommodations are being used
per the student’s IEP for it is law and it will hopefully help the
student succeed academically.
