Warm-up and Objective Discussion

An introduction about what is verb to be and what does it include.

I will explain when do we use verb to be.


What are the pronouns that come with am, is and are and when do we use them.
What are the singular and plural pronouns .

Guided Practice  R  W  L  S
I will give each student a flash cards including one of the pronouns like (he, we, I...etc ).
I will show them sentences that requires a pronoun to be completed. They will read the
sentence and the student that has the right pronoun will come to the board and stick the
flash card to complete the sentence.

Independent Practice  R  W  L  S

I will give them an art craft of (am, is, and are) and the rest of the exercise as homework.
They will cut them and stick them on the sentence as we did in the classroom.
